LIFE IN ART

SCOTT SHAFFER

Colorado based sculptor Scott Shaffer draws inspiration from the state’s stunning landscapes and wildlife, which have been central to his work since childhood. With a background in natural sciences, Scott has spent over 30 years creating realistic bronze sculptures for public and private collections. His detailed artistry captures the essence of the living world, from dynamic wildlife to lifelike human monuments.

Now residing in Grand Junction, Scott continues to produce impactful pieces that bring life to both intimate and large scale spaces. When not in his studio, you can often find him exploring the Western Rockies, embracing the natural beauty that inspires his work. In his personal life, Scott deeply values time spent with his wife of 32 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Matt and Nic. He also treasures his close community of friends and family.
